Responsibilities:

• Oversee staffing, safety, training, and performance management for Grounds and Maintenance teams
• Provide hands-on leadership and technical guidance in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical)
• Maintain accurate records of equipment and facility conditions to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Develop and execute short- and long-term maintenance, renovation, and capital improvement plans
• Coordinate and manage contracted maintenance and renovation projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
• Oversee architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors for large-scale projects
• Ensure compliance with all inspections, permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements (fire safety, elevators, building codes, etc.)
• Conduct routine inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and overall property condition
• Prepare cost estimates and recommendations for repairs with a focus on safety and operational efficiency
• Update and maintain AutoCAD drawings to reflect facility changes and improvements
• Manage maintenance operations including work orders, inventory control, and purchasing
• Maintain service contracts and equipment warranties
• Diagnose and perform minor repairs as needed to support daily operations
• Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and operational goals
• Recruit, train, and develop staff with a focus on customer service, safety, and compliance
• Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and casino safety protocols
• Lead safety initiatives and training programs for department staff
• Prepare, manage, and monitor departmental budgets
• Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience:

• Bachelors degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in facilities, property, or plant management within a large commercial environment
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience leading teams in a fast-paced setting
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Experience managing construction or renovation projects and coordinating contractors
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar programs
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a high-volume environment
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to maintain professional relationships across all levels

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in a casino, resort, or hospitality environment preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards in gaming or hospitality industries
• Experience managing large-scale facility operations or capital projects
