This position primarily supports breakfast and lunch service, with occasional evening shifts as needed. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in food quality, and is comfortable working in a mission-driven environment that supports individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Assist with breakfast and lunch service, with flexibility for occasional evening shifts
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and workstations
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Assist with food prep, stocking, and inventory as needed
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Support a positive and inclusive environment for staff and trainees

Qualifications:

• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Requirements:

• Food safety knowledge
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Lift up to 40 lbs. as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment
