This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an IT Project Management Lead in the United States.
This role sits at the center of enterprise technology delivery, responsible for driving complex, cross-functional IT initiatives that enable innovation and operational excellence in a fast-evolving, sustainability-driven industry. You will lead end-to-end project execution across application development, infrastructure, cloud, and systems integration initiatives. Acting as a key connector between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors, you will ensure alignment on scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables. The position requires a strong balance of strategic oversight and hands-on project management, with responsibility for delivering high-impact solutions on time and within budget. You will also play a critical role in governance, risk management, and continuous improvement of delivery practices. This is a high-visibility role where your leadership directly supports digital transformation and business scalability.
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects, including system implementations, cloud migrations, integrations, and application development initiatives
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and sponsors
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocation models, schedules, and progress tracking frameworks
- Facilitate communication between business units, IT teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure alignment and transparency
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests while driving mitigation strategies and resolution plans
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, security policies, and compliance requirements
- Track project KPIs and performance metrics to ensure delivery quality and benefits realization
- Mentor and support junior project managers and contribute to improving project delivery practices and standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–7+ years of experience managing complex IT projects, including enterprise-scale or multi-year initiatives
- Strong understanding of IT systems, including applications, integrations/APIs, cloud environments, databases, and infrastructure
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget
- Experience managing vendors, system integrators, and cross-functional technical teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with executive leadership
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to lead through influence in matrixed, fast-paced environments
- PMP, Scrum, or other project management certifications are a plus
- Experience in agriculture or controlled environment agriculture is a plus
- Competitive base salary range: $110,000 – $180,000 depending on experience and location
