This position demands a mix of strategic insight and hands-on technical expertise as you develop and implement security policies and initiatives to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.Accountabilities
- Lead vulnerability management, SIEM tuning, incident response, and threat investigations.
- Oversee secure baseline configurations and cloud security controls.
- Develop and manage all security policies, standards, and awareness training.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage third-party/vendor risk evaluations.
- Own the Disaster Recovery governance program and ensure effective plan execution.
- Guide cross-functional teams through security requirements and policy changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on IT security engineering or cybersecurity experience.
- Strong technical knowledge in AWS security, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Experience in leading security or compliance functions effectively.
- Familiarity with SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and audits.
