Annuals & Folaige Growing at Echters Greenhouses Inc – Arvada, Colorado

The annuals growing team is the backbone of Echter's green goods departments. You will be working behind the scenes to help produce, maintain, and stock thousands of varieties of flowers and plants for the spring season. Positions within the team are assigned based on ability, knowledge, and interest but teamwork is essential and employees often help in various areas throughout the store.

Duties
A day in the life of a annuals growing team member could include:
• Watering
• Transplanting
• Pricing
• Stocking
• Unloading plant shipments

Qualities We Value
Echter's provides training and education for each of its team members so although previous plant knowledge is valued, it is not required for this position. More importantly, we are looking for someone who is/has:

Skills and Qualifications:

-Ability to lift 40 lbs. or more

-Must be 18 years old or older

- Ability to operate horticultural equipment and tools safely and effectively

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions

- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team

-Able to work Saturday & Sundays when necessary
