- Define and execute the long-term Quality Engineering vision, aligned with product and engineering objectives
- Lead and grow a team of QA engineers, SDETs, and automation architects, fostering accountability, innovation, and continuous learning
- Drive an automation-first culture, embedding test automation into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
- Oversee performance testing, security validation, observability practices, and production readiness initiatives
- Implement and enhance observability using logs, metrics, traces, and synthetic monitoring to improve incident detection and reliability
- Build and present actionable quality metrics (automation coverage, escaped defects, release reliability, regression stability, performance SLAs) to guide decision-making
- Strengthen release governance with quality gates, risk-based testing, and end-to-end release validations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, UX, DevOps, and Support to embed quality early in the development lifecycle
- 710+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, including 25 years leading teams
- Deep expertise in test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based SaaS delivery
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, K6) and observability platforms (e.g., Datadog, Grafana)
- Strong command of quality metrics, reporting, and KPI-driven decision-making
- Experience in defining and executing QA strategies for large-scale software systems
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills
- Ability to implement systemic improvements to processes, tools, and automation strategy
- Competitive base pay ($130,000$173,333 USD for U.S. candidates, depending on experience)
