Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Thomasville, North Carolina at EveryAge

This position is accountable for clinical management functions and employee performance evaluations to assure delivery of quality health care and services consistent with regulatory compliance and facility policies, procedures, standards and financial objectives. The Assistant Director of Nursing supervises all nursing personnel on the assigned unit/shift and performs administrative tasks on the assigned unit/shift and serves as a back-up for the Director of Nursing.

Minimal Education:

Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.

Minimal Experience:

Minimum of three (3) years Registered Nurse experience in a skilled nursing facility.

One (1) year of satisfactory experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing, Supervisor, or Charge Nurse, preferably in long term care.

Other Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse License

CPR certification

Strong communication, leadership skills and interpersonal relationship skills.

Demonstrated clinical competency and provision of expert care to patients with either predictable or unpredictable
