Position Profile
The Clinical Resource Nurse provides mentoring and professional development of clinical employees in a designated clinical office/department. Coordinates onsite educational programs and assists in the development of educational programs based on employee/agency needs.
Responsibilities
§ Provides expert clinical resource support and mentoring.
§ Orients new clinical employees.
§ Provides quality continuing education in collaboration with Education Department.
§ Serves as effective resource for clinical office leadership.
§ Maintains professional knowledge and enhances professional skills.
§ Adheres to high standards of personal and professional conduct.
Minimum Qualifications
§ Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
§ Current Arizona RN licensure in good standing.
§ Minimum one year of recent experience in medical, surgical or critical care as a professional nurse.
§ Strong clinical assessment skills.
§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
§ Solution driven, creative and resourceful problem solving skills.
§ Ability to manage time well and perform assigned duties with attention detail, accuracy and follow-through.
§ Proficient computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
§ BSN preferred.
§ One-year adult teaching experience preferred.
§ CHPN highly preferred.
