General Description:

Tolin Mechanical, an established, well recognized and respected HVAC service contractor, is looking for an experienced Material Handler to join our Fort Collins Branch. We are seeking a candidate who meets the qualifications listed below.

This position requires someone who is self-motivated, professional, and a solid team player. The Material Handlers are responsible for performing tasks that support the logistics team and support the technicians in the field. Excellent communication skills, a hard-working attitude, and ability to follow and demonstrate safe practices are essential to success in this role.

Responsibilities for Material Handler

• Loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing materials and equipment
• Status reporting on all matters affecting service operations
• Use of assistive devices such as hoists and lifts
• Use of protective devices such as padding, and straps
• Ensuring a safe work environment
• Operation of company vehicles to deliver / pick up materials to and from field techs and other branches
• Securing building before and after business hours
• Supporting logistics team with other tasks as needed
• Internal relations and collaboration with other teams

Compensation & Benefits:

Average Starting Wage: $20.50 to 22.50/hr. Combined experience, education, skills and knowledge will be taken into consideration.

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

• Willingness to work flexible hours and long distance driving in the mountains
• Ability to drive defensively
• Material handling experience
• Knowledge of Denver metro area
• Experience and demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal departments, vendors, and customers
• Certification to operate a forklift

Minimum Qualifications:

• Over 18 years of age
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to bend and lift up to 50lbs
• Strong written and verbal English skills
• Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing
