Role Overview

We are currently seeking an Atlas Experience Café Associate- Retail Concierge to support our café. We are seeking someone with a positive mindset and a genuine passion for delivering great service to ensure that every customer enjoys a positive experience that complements their shopping visit.

As a AX Café Associate - Retail Concierge, your role is pivotal in creating a welcoming and inviting experience for each of our customers. Reporting to the Customer Concierge Manager, the Hospitality Associate will be responsible for the cafe situated adjacent to our retail showroom and offer a unique experience of grab-and-go snacks, hot and cold beverages, and a selection of curated store merchandise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Greeting customers and establishing a positive rapport.
Provide detailed information about our café menu, beverages and café store merchandise
Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages following café and food service standards
Ensure grab-and-go food items are stocked and attractively displayed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, following health and safety regulations, including routine maintenance of machines and equipment..
Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices.
Minimize waste and food costs by implementing effective inventory management and placing appropriate orders to align with demand.
Conduct a daily food, beverage, and merchandise audit by reviewing inventory, verifying product quality, ensuring appropriate storage, and completing a daily checklist.
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner
Represent and contribute to a positive work environment and behave professionally in all interactions.
Accurately handle cash transitions and process payments using the point of sale system.
Ensure proper cash drawer management and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Follow cash handling procedures and security protocols to safeguard cash
Stock shelves, racks, hooks, bins, and price products correctly.
Assist the customer with questions related to café merchandise
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service, cleanliness and organization.
Perform stocking and cleaning duties, as needed.
Be a good listener and offer customers the right help.
Perform various duties throughout the store as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Able to provide exceptional service in a high-paced and independent environment
Experience working in food service
High school diploma
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Detail-oriented, highly observant, and accurate.
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Google applications, and some mathematical aptitude.
Able to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
Must be Smart Serve certified.
Can work a combination of shifts weekdays AM / PM with a mandatory to work on all Saturdays.
A multi-tasker who can perform in a fast-paced environment.
