As a Customer Care Assistant/Coordinator, you will connect clients, transport teams, and shipments, ensuring our operations run seamlessly every day. You bring customer care or logistics experience, strong communication, and ideally experience with commercial clients. You are organised, independent, and ready to take ownership, with the potential to develop leadership skills and grow your career within cargo-partner.
What Youll Do- Be the go-to contact for our customers, managing daily queries and delivery bookings confidently via phone and email
- Take ownership of client shipments, ensuring every order is dispatched accurately, efficiently, and on schedule
- Build strong, trusted relationships with commercial clients, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service
- Work closely with transport teams and drivers, supporting coordination and ensuring smooth daily operations
- Assist with supervising a dedicated team of transport staff and drivers, helping ensure a full and effective daily debrief is completed
- Keep everything organised and on track, maintaining precise records and ensuring administrative processes run seamlessly
- Experience in a customer care role or a similar position within logistics, freight forwarding, or a transport environment
- Strong communication skills, with a professional approach and a clear commitment to delivering outstanding service and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Excellent organisational skills, able to work independently, maintain attention to detail, and tackle challenges with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, enabling you to manage operations efficiently
- A positive, resilient attitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment and staying focused under pressure
