About the Role

Joyce University is seeking Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty for Night Shifts in the Salt Lake City metro area. This role offers an opportunity to teach and mentor nursing students during overnight clinical experiences in real-world healthcare settings.

You’ll join a supportive, mission-driven academic community focused on excellence in nursing education, hands-on learning, and student success — while maintaining the flexibility that part-time night shift teaching provides.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide hands-on clinical instruction in local healthcare facilities
  • Mentor, coach, and evaluate nursing students in real-time patient care environments
  • Identify academic or professional challenges and support student remediation
  • Collaborate with faculty leadership on curriculum and program improvement
  • Maintain clinical competence and stay current with evidence-based practice
  • Participate in university activities such as staff meetings, pinning ceremonies, and graduation

What You Bring Required:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Utah
  • Master’s degree in Nursing
  • Candidates with a BSN who are enrolled in, or willing to begin, an MSN program will also be considered
  • 2–3 years of recent clinical nursing experience

Preferred:

  • 2–3 years of teaching experience
  • Prior clinical teaching experience
