Accountant – Urbandale, IA

Blue Stone Therapy is seeking an Accountant to support financial reporting, reconciliation, and general ledger activity for our growing multi-state organization.

This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and partnering with leadership to ensure financial integrity and operational consistency.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts
• Support month-end close and financial reporting
• Oversee and perform accounts payable functions
• Review accounts receivable activity and resolve discrepancies
• Provide payroll backup and complete payroll-related reconciliations
• Prepare audit schedules and documentation
• Identify and resolve discrepancies or process gaps

What We're Looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• Experience with ERP or payroll/accounting systems preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
