Lifeguard at Candlewood Management Service, Inc. – Howell, New Jersey

Location: New Jersey

We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to ensure the safety of all patrons at our facility located at our facilities throughout New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be attentive, quick to respond, and committed to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for swimmers.

• Monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Enforce all pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment.
• Perform rescues and administer first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the pool area.
• Conduct regular safety checks of pool equipment and facilities.
• Communicate effectively with patrons and staff regarding safety procedures.
• Attend training sessions and maintain required certifications.

• Current Lifeguard certification (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent).
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
• Excellent observation and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.
• Previous lifeguard experience preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 15 years old.
