This role serves as the CEO’s right hand, providing high-impact support across strategy, operations, and execution. You will act as a trusted extension of the CEO, managing priorities, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring critical actions are completed efficiently. This position combines strategic oversight with operational rigor, requiring someone who can build presentations, draft executive communications, and follow up on initiatives across the organization. You will drive alignment, track progress against company goals, and proactively surface blockers to keep leadership focused on the most important priorities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment, has exceptional judgment and discretion, and is comfortable influencing without formal authority. This role offers remote flexibility while providing deep exposure to executive decision-making and company-wide impact.
- Serve as a trusted extension of the CEO, drafting and managing communications, emails, and correspondence with sound judgment and the CEO’s voice
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, prioritizing commitments and delegating appropriately to optimize executive time
- Prepare the CEO for meetings and high-stakes conversations with context, briefings, talking points, and pre-reads
- Drive follow-up with direct reports and executive teams on goals, priorities, and action items, ensuring accountability across the organization
- Own and lead weekly executive syncs, 1:1s, and cross-functional check-ins, including agenda creation, note-taking, and action tracking
- Track progress against company and CEO-level objectives, surfacing risks and blockers proactively
- Build, refine, and deliver presentations for internal and external audiences, including board and executive team meetings
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency within the CEO’s office and implement systems to enhance effectiveness
- 4–7 years of experience in a Chief of Staff, executive operations, consulting, or other high-accountability roles, preferably in startups or high-growth environments
- Strong ability to hold senior leaders accountable and manage up, across, and down without relying solely on formal authority
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt the CEO’s voice for executive-level correspondence
- Experience building polished presentations for executive and board-level audiences
- High judgment and discretion in handling sensitive organizational information
- Proven ability to implement lightweight systems for tracking priorities and ensuring follow-through
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-visibility, and high-pressure environment
- Base salary range: $125,000 – $175,000 USD, depending on experience and location
