POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a driven,continuous learner, and relationship-focused Human Resources Business Partnerto serve as a key partner toa designated Business Unit(s). The HR Business Partneris responsible forsupporting designatedbusiness units to develop talent solutions that support business strategiesand operational plans.

This individualoperates strategically toprovideboth day to day support to employees and leadersand serves as a coach and consultantin supporting longer term talent, development, and cultural strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supports current and future business needs throughcollaboration with designated business leaders throughfocusesofdevelopment, engagement, motivation, and retention of people.
  • Plans and leads core HR processes and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy in the functional areas of onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, culture, development, and compensation supporting a dedicated business unit(s).
  • Leverages strong business acumen to analyzeandreport outon relevant business unit HR metrics and people trends,utilizingdata to support ideas and solutions.Works closelywithHR Specialist& HR Functional groupsto analyze data for areas of focus for business unit HR and management teams.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit workforce planning, succession, and talent development needs.
  • Possess confidence,courage, and an ability to challenge the status quoto express a differing point of view and to communicate at multiple levels.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues,providingperformance management guidance to leaders.
  • Supportsproject leadersby periodically conducting site visitsandestablishingthemselves as the key point-of-contact for talent,cultureand HR operations issues.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition,Learning & Development, and Organizational Developmentteam members to create and implement best practices to achieve business results.
  • Work alongside HRDirector/Vice Presidentto research, develop, create, and implement HR strategies and practices catering to a unique and growing business unit.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree
  • 2 to 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport, developrelationshipsandestablishcredibility and trust.
  • Ability to navigate sensitive situations andmaintaina high degree of confidentiality.
  • Superior attention to detail, prioritization, and organizational skills, with ability to multi-task.
  • Experience successfully navigating a complex environmentutilizingstrong communicationskills.
  • Must be able to manage and implement region and/or business unit wide programs, processes, and initiatives, ensuring proper communication and effective change management, independently and successfully.
  • Excellent active listening, consultative,negotiationand presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates a healthy balance ofpeopleorientation, drive for results, and analytical skills.
  • Construction or related industry experience is helpful,though notrequired.
  • Mustbe willing totravel25%.
