- Lead and develop a high-performing Data Science team, fostering technical excellence and strategic thinking
- Define and execute quarterly roadmaps, aligning team resources with business priorities and overseeing high-quality execution
- Build and maintain a metrics framework linking revenue systems to financial outcomes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure audit-ready, GAAP-compliant financial reporting
- Conduct deep dives into data to uncover insights, optimize processes, and mitigate revenue loss
- Translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders
- Stay hands-on with strategic projects, balancing team leadership with technical execution and modeling
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles, with 3+ years managing and developing teams
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
- Experience with revenue cycle management (healthcare RCM preferred) and financial systems analysis
- Hands-on expertise in SQL and Python or R, with experience in data modeling (dbt preferred) and predictive modeling techniques
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally across Finance, Accounting, Product, Engineering, and Operations
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for accelerating and automating data workflows
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences
