Senior Strategic Account Manager, Upper Enterprise

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Strategic Account Manager, Upper Enterprise in the United States.

This role is a high-impact, revenue-accountable position responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of high-touch Upper Enterprise accounts. You will act as the “CEO” of your book of business, driving net dollar retention, renewals, and upsell opportunities. The position requires executive-level engagement, strategic account planning, and translating advanced Customer AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and CX to ensure customer success and influence product roadmaps. This role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to shape relationships with Fortune 500-level clients while generating significant commercial impact. Your work directly contributes to scaling adoption, increasing customer satisfaction, and delivering long-term value.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the revenue performance of a portfolio of 7–10 Upper Enterprise accounts, including renewals, expansion, and net dollar retention
  • Build and execute strategic account plans, identifying white space and aligning AI solutions to customer business priorities
  • Lead executive engagement across C-suite and senior stakeholders, facilitating QBRs and EBRs that translate platform insights into business outcomes
  • Manage complex commercial negotiations, navigating procurement, legal, and multi-stakeholder approval processes
  • Serve as the internal voice of the customer, collaborating with Sales, Product, and CX teams to ensure customer needs influence roadmaps and initiatives
  • Position AI capabilities as strategic investments, delivering solutions that drive efficiency, customer devotion, and measurable ROI
  • Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and account growth strategies, driving action independently and ensuring high-quality engagement
Requirements:
  • 8+ years in a quota-carrying, client-facing role such as Strategic Account Management, Install Base Sales, or Expansion Sales within SaaS
  • Proven track record exceeding net retention and expansion targets, including six-to-seven figure renewals
  • Experience managing high-touch Enterprise accounts with complex organizational hierarchies
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and hold C-suite stakeholders accountable
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to develop multi-threaded account plans and actionable roadmaps
  • Customer-obsessed mindset, combining commercial acumen with deep care for client success
  • Self-starter with ownership mentality, able to anticipate needs and drive outcomes independently
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
