Weekly Pay: $34.00/hr

Summary:
Performing routine equipment checks and maintenance, loading and unloading equipment, and ensuring sites are kept clean and equipment is safely turned off and stored. You are expected to consistently follow health and safety regulations and be able to take instructions from supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, excavators, bulldozers, tractors, and other machinery as needed.
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, material moving, and site preparation in accordance with project specifications.
• Inspect, maintain, and perform basic troubleshooting on equipment to ensure safe working condition.
• Follow safety guidelines, company policies, and OSHA regulations at all times.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and site personnel to coordinate work.
• Complete assigned tasks on time and to quality standards.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials and perform manual labor as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as backhoe, excavator, bulldozer, and tractor.
• Knowledge of equipment capabilities, limitations, and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to read and follow project plans, blueprints, or grade stakes (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality.
• Physical ability to sit for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying outdoor conditions.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
