Description: TR Toppers is recruiting a part-time or full-time Front Desk Representative in Pueblo, CO. The ideal candidate should be dependable, self-motivated, willing to learn and grow, have excellent data entry and writing skills (primarily for emails), and, most importantly, have a positive, upbeat personality that embraces TR Toppers’ Superior Customer Service culture.

TR Toppers is a national food processing company located in Pueblo, CO, that specializes in processing name-brand candies and other inclusions used in a variety of food products, such as ice cream and cakes, and ships them throughout the country. SUMMARY: TR Toppers strives to provide exceptional customer service. As a Front Desk Representative, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and incoming communications, making customer service a top priority. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a professional, welcoming demeanor. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, managing front desk operations, and handling general administrative tasks. The role requires actively listening to customer concerns and providing thoughtful, effective, and individualized solutions. A strong understanding of the company’s customer service policies, along with comprehensive product knowledge, is essential to deliver prompt, accurate, and high-quality support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the first point of contact by greeting visitors and clients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and emails to appropriate personnel
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with effective problem-solving and resolution skills
  • Maintain a clean, organized, professional front desk and reception area
  • Assist in managing incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and team members
  • Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Requirements:

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional coursework or training in customer service, office administration, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal education.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office, with strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Data Entry experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent work ethic
  • Recent customer service experience within the last two years
  • Excellent professional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Self-starter and fast learner who can adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are preferred to effectively communicate with a diverse employee and visitor population.

NECESSARY REQUIREMENT: The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

WORK SCHEDULE: 20 to 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday; must be flexible to work longer hours to meet the company's needs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE POSITION:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. An Individual’s approach must be tactful and able to interact well with others. Enjoys working with a team, building relationships, and enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment. A critical thinker who can think outside the box and enjoys solving complex problems. Must meet scheduled deadlines and be able to multitask.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. This position requires the employee to sit 90% of the work time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Most of the duties of this job take place in an office environment.
