PreK Teacher Aide at ST JOHN VIANNEY CHURCH – Gallatin, Tennessee

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teacher in implementing her lesson plans.
• Maintain proper classroom management and safety
• Supervises the children at all times
• Maintains a professional attitude and loyalty to the school at all times.
• Treats all children with dignity and respect.
• Helps to maintain a neat and organized classroom.
• Supervises all activities to ensure safety at all times.
• Reports the principal any problem which may occur with the children.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a classroom preferred
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age and meet the requirements of the diocese.
• Must have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, be able to relate well to children, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the school’s program and philosophy.
• Must be willing to work as a team with other teachers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized and strong classroom management
