Position Title: Dashboard Configuration Specialist
Location: Hybrid (Plymouth Office) or Remote
Reports To: Engineering Manager
Job Type: Full Time, Exempt
Who We’re Looking For
If your idea of a good time is catching a missing serial number before anyone else does, keep reading. We’re looking for someone obsessive about details, deadly accurate with a keyboard, and confident enough to flag a bad install when they see one. You won’t be buried in a support queue or answering phones all day. Your job is to make sure everything shows up right on the dashboard every time, with photos to prove it.
This role is critical to making our tech installs look clean, professional, and correctly tied into our systems. If you’re the kind of person who quietly fixes other people’s sloppy work without making a scene, we already like you.
About Federated Service Solutions
At Federated, we move fast, solve real problems, and make complex tech rollouts look easy. Since 2004, we’ve helped national brands implement everything from security systems to network infrastructure to telematics platforms, on time, on budget, and without excuses.
Our teams run on ownership, autonomy, and accountability. No micromanagement. No red tape. Just results.
What You’ll Do
• Review installation photos submitted from the field
• Verify each install has the correct identifiers and asset data
• Configure the new device properly in Samsara
• Confirm that all install information is complete and correct
• Escalate any red flags or install problems to the Help Desk
• Certify and close out device and gateway installs when ready
What You Bring
• Laser-focused attention to detail
• Strong computer navigation skills (no fear of tabs, files, or system jumping)
• Experience with data entry, QA, or system setup
• Comfort reviewing images and matching details against form data
Nice to Have
• Familiarity with Samsara or other telematics platforms
• Experience in fleet tracking, logistics, or field service
• Light troubleshooting or QA background
This Role Isn’t for You If
• You click OK on alerts without reading them
• You guess when things don’t look right
• You don’t follow escalation steps or leave notes
• You get bored doing detailed work over and over again
Why You’ll Love It Here
• Autonomy to own your work and fix what needs fixing
• A tight team that trusts each other to get it right
• No drama, no micromanaging, just accountability
• Real results from your work, seen in every install
Our Benefits
• Competitive compensation
• Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K
• Paid time off and holidays
• And more, because we take care of the people who take care of the work
