We are looking to add an Operations Manager to our Atlanta market!
The Operations Manager acts as team leads overseeing the completion and management of specific operational aspects of parking facilities within a designated area. This role involves overseeing facility operations, optimizing revenue, ensuring exceptional customer service, and assisting in managing Facilities Management teams to build and maintain a high-performing team within the market.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
• Support the team responsible for day-to-day operations of parking facilities within the assigned market, ensuring they operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies and standards.
• Verify the completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual tasks including reporting and operational aspects.
Team Leadership
• Provide strong leadership to parking facility managers and frontline staff, promoting a positive and high-performance work culture.
• Set clear expectations, provide coaching and development, and foster teamwork and collaboration.
Customer Satisfaction
• Drive a customer-centric approach across the entire portfolio by ensuring exceptional service standards through regular interaction audits and reviews.
• Implement strategies to enhance customer experience and resolve issues promptly.
Revenue Optimization
• Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue generation across the area; monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Meet regularly with the GM to assess market conditions and recommend strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
Cost Management
• Monitor and control operational costs, ensuring budgets are adhered to and expenses are optimized.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to improve efficiency and profitability.
Quality Assurance
• Establish and maintain quality control measures to ensure high standards of delivery of the Legacy operating platform.
• Conduct regular audits of operating tools and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Monthly Reporting
• Assist and provide resources and training to managers to ensure accuracy and viability of monthly reporting packages for client delivery.
Maintenance & Repairs
• Collaborate with the facility management team to ensure timely repairs, maintenance, and cleanliness of parking facilities.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and ensure the team is effectively utilizing the Prism module.
Technology Implementation
• Collaborate with the General Manager to evaluate and implement new technologies that improve operational efficiency and enhance customer experience.
Emergency Backfill
• Act as the General Manager's emergency backfill for on-site management at a location for short periods during employee turnover.
Minimum Qualifications
• 3+ years of management experience in a service-related industry, with responsibility for staffing, scheduling, and budget/financial management
• Previous parking management experience with multiple direct reports a plus
• Bachelor's degree a plus
• Demonstrated capacity to lead and both anticipate and solve problems
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously with flexibility amid shifting priorities
• Self-motivated with a clear, courteous, and professional manner
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; formal presentation skills a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and appropriate technologies
Performance Standards
This position will receive an annual performance review from the direct supervisor to discuss actual performance compared to company expectations and agreed-upon performance goals for the upcoming year.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
This role requires standing, walking, sitting, use of hands and fingers, handling tools or controls, reaching, talking, and hearing. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs. Work takes place across parking facilities and may include outdoor exposure and varying noise levels. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
