Test Engineer at AEI-CIG – Santa Clara, California

Position Overview:

As a Test Engineer in our company, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge optical transceiver technology for high-growth AI data center applications. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and contribute to critical projects involving advanced optical communication products.

Responsibilities:

1. Optical Transceiver Testing:
   1. Understand the physics and design of optical communication products, specifically optical transceivers.
   2. Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and provide data analysis
   3. Execute test cases for optical transceiver evaluation.
2. Firmware Testing:
   1. Work closely with the firmware team to understand existing embedded firmware features.
   2. Develop and validate unit tests for firmware automation test.
   3. Collaborate with other engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware with hardware components.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, C) for software development and test.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, optical power meters).
• Knowledge of communication and networking hardware and protocols.
