About This Position

Program Manager – Salesforce Federal Delivery
Location: Remote/Hybrid (US-based, DC Metro Area). In-person expectations include visits with customers, Salesforce offices, and to Thunder offices in Tysons Corner, VA.
Employment Type: This is a contingent role based upon a successful bid award.
Role Summary:
We’re seeking a Federal Program Manager, who plays a key leadership role in driving the successful delivery of complex Federal Salesforce Public Sector solutions.
This role is accountable for managing scope, schedule, budget, and compliance requirements across multiple projects within a Federal program. The Program Manager ensures alignment between mission objectives, contractual requirements, and overall program strategy. This position requires strong leadership, governance, and planning capabilities, as well as experience operating at the intersection of business strategy, digital delivery, and client management.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage overall Federal program delivery, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and budget across the program’s Salesforce Public Sector initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cleared Federal stakeholders, facilitating communication and strategic alignment on Salesforce-related goals.
  • Track program performance metrics and provide transparent, timely communication through executive-level status reports and program dashboards to Federal clients and internal leadership.
  • Ensure all program documentation, deliverables, and reporting comply with Federal standards, including security and reporting requirements for Salesforce environments.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, Business Analysts (BAs), and Quality Assurance (QA) resources to ensure overall program success.
  • Escalate critical risks and issues proactively and implement strategic mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:
  • 7-10+ years of IT program or project management experience, preferably in large-scale Federal environments.
  • 3-5+ years of proven experience managing programs that utilize Salesforce Government Cloud Plus, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and/or Agentforce.
  • Strong strategic planning, governance, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs in cleared delivery environments.
  • US Citizenship Required, with ability and willingness to obtain security clearance(s).
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • PMP, PgMP, CSM, or SAFe certification preferred.
