Area Revenue Manager - Hospitality

Growing Management Company located in Brea, CA is looking for an Area Revenue Manager.

Experience required.

Experience with Hilton, IHG, Marriot preferred.

Summary:

Oversee and support a portfolio of 12-15 hotels in the management of rates and inventory and the communication of revenue and sales goals and strategies to hotels to maximize revenue.

General Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute scheduled reports.
• Facilitate rate and inventory changes across the various systems.
• Possess sound knowledge of day-to-day Revenue Management.
• Find and evaluate new revenue opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with General Managers, OTA market managers, and other partners.
• Follows corporate Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assist Director of Sales and Revenue with other duties as assigned.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute Daily Pick-up Reports.
• Possess signification knowledge of computer and different POS/RMS systems to perform rate and inventory changes to ensure revenue strategies are effectively implemented at hotels.
• Recommend changes to hotel pricing and sales strategies by analyzing historical and forecast data and proving market research.
• Manage rate and inventory of hotels across all OTAs as specified by revenue strategies.
• Oversee the management of the hotels’ e-commerce and social media presence in conjunction with third party Digital Marketing Company to ensure accurate hotel information and up to date and fresh content to optimize image of hotels.
• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly package of reports for Sales and Revenue Meetings.
• Maintain and distribute Sales and Revenue meeting agendas and minutes.
• Monitor hotels’ sales portals to ensure accurate hotel rate and inventory information and ensure RFPs are duly completed.
• Assist with preparing and maintaining Sales and Revenue Goals and Strategies.
• Assist with preparation and distribution of Annual Business Plan.
• Assist with preparation and distribution of quarterly and annual reviews.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
