Pay Range: $114,500.00 — $145,000.00 per year

Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Functions: Responsible for participating in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of education and training for ambulatory associates. Educates and mentors nursing staff on quality improvement and evidence-based practice. Facilitates professional role development and practices role transitions. Develops and implements initial and ongoing competencies alongside department leadership. Demonstrates effective teaching skills through appropriate instruction methodologies. Provides for orientation, in-service training, and continuing education. Organizes multiple assignments and/or projects simultaneously to accomplish goals. Visible and accessible to clinical staff. Additional duties and responsibilities as delegated within NPDP Scope and Standards of Practice. The role requires flexibility, adaptability, and independent prioritization of responsibilities across ambulatory sites. Travel throughout the state is required.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited school or university.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
  • A Master’s degree in Education, Nursing, and/or Health Related Field post-master's certificate in education is preferred.
  • Two (2) years of Operating Room experience required.
  • Two (2) years in Education and/or Professional Development preferred.
  • Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • A current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Certification in Nursing Specialty preferred.
  • Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) preferred.

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Full-Time, 40 Hour Position
  • Travel throughout the state required
