This role is responsible for leading strategic client relationships across banking, treasury, and platform solutions, ensuring high client satisfaction, business growth, and long-term value creation. The Director will manage a team of relationship managers, develop and execute account strategies, and act as the primary liaison with key stakeholders. You will collaborate across sales, product, operations, and support teams to align client needs with organizational capabilities while identifying new business opportunities and enhancing client retention. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and people leadership, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on client success and company growth in a fast-paced financial technology environment.
- Develop and execute relationship management strategies for key accounts, building trust with senior client stakeholders
- Serve as the primary escalation point for high-value clients and resolve complex issues efficiently
- Drive account growth through upselling, cross-selling, contract renewals, and identification of new business opportunities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Relationship Managers & Team Leads, setting KPIs and fostering a client-centric culture
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, operations, and support teams to align client expectations with organizational capabilities
- Monitor client satisfaction and retention metrics, implementing initiatives to improve experience and loyalty
- Track account performance, prepare executive reports, and leverage CRM and analytics tools to inform decision-making
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years in client success, account management, or relationship management, preferably in FinTech or Banking
- Strong experience in banking operations and treasury management
- Demonstrated ability in strategic relationship building, stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving
- Prior leadership experience managing teams, setting performance goals, and developing talent
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and executive leadership
- Data-driven decision-making skills with experience using CRM platforms
- Patient, diplomatic, and collaborative approach to client and team interactions
