Service Assistant at Mills Automotive Group – Baxter, Minnesota

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Service Assistant to support our service department. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for our Guests and Department overall. Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in the service drive and assist with initial check-in
• Resolving and addressing Guest issues in the moment, ensuring high Guest satisfaction
• Assist the Service Manager with tasks like providing Guest updates on their vehicles and callbacks, record keeping, vehicle preparation, running errands, and more.
• Move and park vehicles safely on dealership property
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and shop
• Shuttle Guests to various locations
• Perform basic vehicle prep (car washes, vacuuming, light cleaning)
• Deliver parts and assist with inventory organization
• Ensure vehicles are ready and presentable for Guest pickup
• This is a physically active position in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely drive and operate vehicles
• Ability to work on your feet and in varying weather conditions

The starting hourly pay rate range for this position is $16.00 – $17.00+ and will be evaluated based upon relevant skills, training, experience, education and other job-related factors permitted by law.
