The Audit Manager will oversee all aspects of audit engagements, including planning, execution, and presentation of findings, while mentoring and developing junior staff. - Plan, execute, and review employee benefit plan audits under US GAAS and ERISA regulations.
- Conduct audit tests to assess compliance with plan documents and regulatory requirements.
- Draft and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for audit staff.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance satisfaction and trust.
- Deliver strategic accounting advice and recommendations to clients.
- Oversee audit engagement schedules, workflows, and reporting, including virtual and onsite support.
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of progressive employee benefit plan public accounting experience with in-charge responsibilities.
- Proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS, and technical knowledge of ERISA and IRS retirement plan regulations.
- Strong leadership, training, and mentoring capabilities.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- CPA certification or eligibility preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and audit preparation software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
