Clerical Technician at Citizens Memorial – Bolivar, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Front Office Clerk to assist our patients at Butterfield Park Medical Center! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: We are an RHC clinic that provides family practice and counseling services. We are a mid-sized clinic with 3 medical providers, 3 mental health providers, and 2 Addiction Recovery providers.

A typical day includes: answering the telephone and routing to the appropriate person, scheduling patient appointments.

• Keeping the reception area neat and clean.
• Obtaining Universal Consent, updating patient insurance and demographic information, collecting clinic co-pays, and drafting letters for patients.
• Responsible for exiting the patient in a courteous and pleasant manner and assisting them with any questions or problems they have prior to leaving the clinic.

Job Requirements:

• Education: HS diploma
• Experience: 1 year of customer service
• Skills: organization, able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking
• Licensure/Certification: N/A
• Physical: ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%

The position is: Full time days.
