Retail Partner at Homegrown – Seattle, Washington

Job Type: Hourly, Part-time, Thursdays 10 am-2 pm

The possibility of Fridays 10 am-2 pm will become available as we pick back up from the holidays.

Pay Breakdown: $23.75 per hour plus $5-$8 an hour in tips!

Your Total Pay: $28.75-$31.75 an hour *This rate includes tips!

Who we are: Homegrown is a sustainability-focused sandwich and grain bowl concept serving seasonal, organic farm-to-table produce via our proud partnership with Ecolibrium Farms in Woodinville, WA. Our business is predominantly lunch-driven, with our highest volume between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

What you do: Our team members are cross-trained to perform all food service positions, including:

• kitchen prep
• line work
• customer engagement
• upkeep of store facilities

This is a Union Job! The first one hundred sixty (160) hours worked or two (2) months of employment (whichever occurs first) for all new employees shall be considered a probationary period. After completion of the probationary period, all employees in Good Standing (paid in full of periodic dues and fees uniformly required for membership in the Union) are subject to the terms of the UNITE HERE X HOMEGROWN Contract.

Basic Requirements: Ability to multitask during a fast-paced lunch rush. Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with others· Current Washington Food Workers Card.

Physical Requirements: We use a conveyor belt oven to produce warm sandwiches and grain bowls. This job requires long periods of standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
