Lone Star Fire Sprinkler Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to support our growing design and engineering team in Fort Worth, TX. In this critical role, you will be responsible for creating efficient, code-compliant fire sprinkler system designs for a range of commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of experience, a deep understanding of NFPA codes, and proficiency in CAD-based software. • Design fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards, local building codes, and client specifications.

• Create detailed layout drawings using AutoCAD or fire protection software such as HydraCAD.

• Perform hydraulic calculations to ensure system performance and compliance.

• Coordinate designs with project managers, engineers, contractors, and field teams.

• Review architectural and MEP drawings to produce accurate and efficient fire protection designs.

• Generate submittal packages, material lists, and fabrication drawings for approval and field use.

• Participate in internal and external design coordination meetings.

• Ensure all work aligns with safety standards and meets industry best practices.

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing fire sprinkler systems.

• Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, and other relevant codes.

• NICET Level II or higher certification in Fire Protection Engineering TechnologyWater-Based Systems Layout (preferred).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and fire sprinkler design software (HydraCAD or similar).

• Ability to interpret and apply construction documents, technical drawings, and specifications.

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
