The Daily Wire is seeking a News Reporter to deliver timely, accurate reporting on current events, politics, and cultural developments. Reporting to the News Editor, this role is responsible for researching, writing, and publishing well-sourced news stories that reflect the organizations editorial mission and standards. The ideal candidate brings strong reporting and writing skills, sound editorial judgment, and the ability to work quickly and accurately under deadline, contributing clear, responsible journalism grounded in verified information.Primary Responsibilities

• Report and write original news stories under deadline
• Develop clear, fact-based coverage informed by breaking news and editorial priorities
• Conduct research, verify information, and maintain reliable sources
• Monitor news developments and respond quickly to breaking news assignments
• File timely updates as stories evolve while maintaining accuracy
• Collaborate with the News Editor throughout drafting, editing, and revisions
• Incorporate editorial feedback to strengthen clarity, structure, and accuracy
• Uphold standards for accuracy, fairness, and responsible journalism

Experience & Requirements

• Background in journalism, communications, political science, or a related field preferred
• Strong news writing and reporting skills
• Ability to meet frequent, fast-paced deadlines
• Solid research, fact-checking, and source development abilities
• Sound editorial judgment with strong attention to accuracy
• Ability to work collaboratively in a newsroom environment
