About This Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Scribe to join our Otolaryngology practice and help us provide exceptional patient care! As a Medical Scribe, you will be responsible for documenting patient encounters, procedures, and medical histories in real-time.

Your primary responsibilities will include accompanying our physicians during patient visits, taking notes on their behalf, and entering the information into the electronic medical record. You will also be responsible for managing patient records, preparing referral letters, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and maintaining strict confidentiality.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent typing skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures. You should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have experience using electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Two years of transcription and/or editing experience
