Functional Description

The Warehouse Operations & Technical Projects Lead is a key member of the Solutech warehouse team responsible for overseeing critical workflows in Warehouse safety, QA/QC of part testing, shipping coordination, training machine upkeep, and cross-functional technical projects. This role ensures that Linac components meet quality and performance standards, leads the daily activities of the shipping team, and drives special initiatives related to parts development, testing, and R&D. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Prior linac experience is required.

Scope of Outcomes

The core responsibilities for this position include:

  • Linac Part Testing & Quality OversightOversee daily testing and verification of repaired and harvested linac components and subassemblies
  • Oversee outbound parts inspections prior to shipping to ensure visual quality of all partsMaintain testing logs, documentation, and quality control records for training linacs and repaired componentsTroubleshoot failures, escalate issues, and collaborate with engineering to resolve technical concerns on partsEnsure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory guidelines Maintain and ensure a safe environment for all
  • Shipping Team LeadershipProvide daily leadership and coordination for shipping and receiving team
  • Ensure accurate order fulfillment, proper packaging, and on-time shipment of all customer and internal ordersMonitor workload, assign tasks, and support team in achieving productivity targets, i.e., maintain dashboard compliance Oversee shipping documentation, inventory accuracy, and communication with logistics partners
  • Special Projects, R&D, and Parts DevelopmentLead or support technical projects related to new part development, prototype testing, and research initiatives, i.e. cable production, kona water stand
  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and operations teams to execute experiments, document results, and assist in improvement cyclesIdentify opportunities to enhance warehouse processes, testing methods, and part validation proceduresParticipate in design reviews, pilot testing, and continuous improvement
  • Operational Support & Process ImprovementSupport Director of Operations in initiatives related to warehouse optimization
  • Contribute to documentation, SOP creation, workflow/safety standardizationEnsure a safe, clean, and compliant warehouse environmentOversee and maintain dashboard/KPI complianceApprove time cards and expenses as neededDaily standing meetings, weekly goal, and schedule setting for all teamsOther assignments as needed

    Environmental and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, for extended periods of time
  • Dexterous ability to manipulate small objects
  • Willing to work standard and non-standard hours as required to support the customers
