Position Summary

As our Talent Acquisition Leader you will play a strategic and hands-on leadership role in shaping how we attract, engage, and hire top talent across North America. You will build proactive sourcing pipelines, elevate our employer brand, and partner with business leaders to support organizational growth. Providing leadership and guidance to Talent Acquisition Specialists.

Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Leader is responsible for designing and executing a strategic, scalable recruitment function, managing full‑cycle hiring, developing proactive talent pipelines, and leading the recruitment business process. This role ensures our company remains competitive in attracting skilled manufacturing, engineering, sales, and field services talent.

This is a 100% on-site position in Brampton, ON.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine North America recruitment strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines by sourcing both active and passive candidates in a competitive market both external and internal

  • Lead, coach, hiring managers on recruitment processes

End-to-End Talent Acquisition

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment, including job definition, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.

  • Forecast hiring needs in close collaboration with department leaders and workforce planning initiatives.

  • Implement new sourcing methods and optimize the use of job boards, social platforms, and digital recruiting tools.

  • Build long-term relationships with industry associations, schools, and community partners to diversify talent pipelines.

  • Strengthen employer branding initiatives in collaboration with HR and marketing teams.

  • Track recruitment metrics and deliver weekly hiring progress reports to HR leadership and hiring managers.

  • Enhance recruitment operations through continuous improvement, technology utilization, and best-practice adoption. Includes development of skill assessment tools where appropriate.

  • Ensure strong candidate experience and efficient onboarding processes that support new-hire success.

  • Build and refine in collaboration with the HR Business Partners, robust on-boarding programs by functional areas of the business.

  • Ensure all hiring practices meet labor laws, company policies, and diversity, equity, and inclusion standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, a related field or equivalent work experience preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of progressive talent acquisition experience filling roles for Canada and the US, with 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or technical recruitment strongly preferred.

  • 2+ years experience providing ‘inhouse” recruitment services with a national or global company preferred.

  • Familiar with job evaluation, grading, pay bands an asset

  • Experience with global mobility including immigration an asset

  • Bilingual English/French an asset

Key Skills

  • Strong command of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing strategies.

  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics.

  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced entrepreneurial environment.

  • Salary: $90-$115K. Final compensation will be set fairly and thoughtfully based on experience, expertise, and alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
