Floor Technician at Granville Medical Center – Oxford, North Carolina

Position Description:
The Floor Technician is responsible for all hard surface floor and carpet maintenance performed at Granville Health System facilities, includes but is not limited to cleaning ceiling vents, window, window coverings. floors and carpets. Replenishes supplies as needed, removes trash and soiled linen as required on a daily basis.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Must have the ability to read, write, speak and follow written and oral instructions. Previous experience as a floor technician is desirable. Position requires knowledge of hard surface floors and carpet care, operation of floor care machinery,buffers, and high speed scrubbers. On the job training is provided. Must possess basic principles of cleaning,ability to get the assignments completed following schedules.
