About the Role:

The Human Resources Administrator at SEG Manufacturing plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day HR operations and ensuring effective communication across our global workforce. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities, and providing administrative support for HR programs within a manufacturing environment. A key aspect of this role is serving as the primary HR liaison with our overseas team in China, requiring clear, professional communication in both Mandarin and English.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative, HR, or office support experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across cultures
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for our overseas team in China
  • Communicate effectively in Mandarin and English via email, chat, and virtual meetings
  • Support HR administrative processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and documentation
  • Coordinate with the China-based team on HR-related inquiries, policies, and updates
  • Assist with maintaining HR systems, employee files, and compliance documentation
  • Help translate HR materials, communications, and policies as needed
  • Support payroll, benefits, and timekeeping coordination in partnership with internal teams and external vendors
  • Schedule meetings and manage communications across different time zones
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed
