Job Description:

ColdTech Refrigeration, a reputable refrigeration and HVAC company in Idaho Falls, ID, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician with at least 5 years of experience working in supermarkets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing and maintaining HVAC systems in supermarket environments.

Responsibilities:

Perform service, repair, and maintenance on HVAC systems in supermarkets.

Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, providing effective and efficient solutions.

Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.

Collaborate with supermarket staff and management to minimize disruptions to operations.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician in supermarket environments.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including refrigeration equipment, controls, and electrical components.

Experience with commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, refrigeration racks, and walk-in coolers/freezers.

EPA certification required.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
