The Office of Administration – Risk Management Program is seeking intern within our State Employee’s Workers Compensation program. This would be a supporting role within the program by helping our team with day-to-day tasks noted in the key responsibilities section. This internship will provide an opportunity to become familiar with risk management and the ability to network with professionals in state government and risk management.
- Scanning of case files,
- Organization of incoming fax/mail documents,
- Opening and date stamping of incoming mail,
- Assisting with file archiving,
- Scheduling of medical appointments for injured workers,
- Filing of claim documents, and
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED/HiSET
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer Service skills
- Organizational, problem-solving, and detail oriented skills.
