Responsibilities

Pediatrix & Obstetrix® is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our dynamic team at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital, a premier destination for maternity care in Tampa. This is your opportunity to work in a high-volume, collaborative environment that prioritizes patient safety and excellence in women’s health.

Position Highlights

• Comprehensive Hospitalist Practice: Delivery attendance, OB triage, patient evaluation and management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring, and ER coverage.
• High-Volume Facility: Over 8,000 deliveries annually, with 900 managed by the hospitalist team.
• OBED Visits: Approximately 4,200 visits per year.
• Collaborative Team: Work alongside 9 OB/GYNs and 7 CNM/WHNPs.
• 24-Hour Shifts: Double physician coverage; minimum of 6–8 shifts per month.
• Level IV NICU Support: Onsite board-certified neonatologists available 24/7
• Competitive Compensation: Including a generous $30,000 sign-on bonus
