Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in the home setting, focusing on comfort and dignity for patients with terminal illnesses.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
  • Monitor patient condition and report changes to the nursing team.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to both patients and their families.
  • Help with light housekeeping and assist with mobility when needed.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of approved LNA training which fulfills Medicare and State regulation;
  • Current registration by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing and evidence of twelve (12) hours of nursing related in-service education annually;
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
  • Must have successfully completed the LNA competency test with a score of 80% or better; and
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license and access to an automobile during working hours that meet the State of New Hampshire registration regulations and state minimum liability insurance.
