Dental Assistant
Job Title: Contract Dental Assistant - PART TIME
Location: Moapa, NVResponsibilities:-Provide dental services including exams, restorative treatments, oral health education, and preventive care.-Diagnose and treat patients within professional scope and IHS standards.-Assist in patient care processes, ensuring adherence to safety, infection control, and IHS standards.-Complete and maintain patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Dental Record (EDR).-Comply with Joint Commission and CMS standards in a culturally competent manner.-Participate in quality assurance activities and adhere to IHS and service unit policies.Qualifications:-Certification from an accredited program or relevant on-the-job experience.-Minimum of 2 years of experience.-BLS certification and preferred radiology certification
Requirements:-Background check and character investigation as per the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act.Credentialing and fingerprinting required before staring.-Ability to work in Remote Areas and travel if necessary, with weather-related travel challenges expected at some locations.
Work Hours:Varies by location; typically Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with some locations requiring flexibility for longer shifts.
