We are currently seeking an experienced:

CENTRAL SUPPLY/TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR

Full Time

Job Summary:

• Orders needed supplies from multiple sources within budgeted expenses
• Places charge bar code stickers on all applicable supplies
• Inputs charges into software system for financial accounting and billing purposes
• Organizes all needed nursing supplies in Storage Rooms, Lab Room and Nurses’ Station(s).
• Stocks enteral feedings and syringes/delivery bags/tubing appropriately as needed.
• Orders Oxygen as needed. Monitors oxygen tanks and oxygen concentrators in conjunction with Central Supply.
• Monitors cleanliness of O2 concentrators, IV and enteral pumps and poles, suction machines, nebulizers, and other nursing equipment.
• Responsible for transporting patients to and from scheduled appointments.
• Errands for Facility as needed to pharmacy, etc. as directed by DON or designee.
• Performs other duties as assigned by DON or designee.

• Must be a high school graduate or GED with Current Nurse Aide Listing.
• Current CPR certification
• Must have basic clerical/computer knowledge.
• Must be willing to perform routine repetitive tasks on a continuous basis.
• Must be able work and cooperate with other employees.
• Must be kind and respectful to patients, staff, and visitors.
• Wears uniform designated for position and a nametag.
• Must read, know, and follow personnel, department, and Facility policies.
• Must attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
• Valid NC Driver’s license and clean driving record for transporting patients to appointments.
