Lab Technician - Waived Testing at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center – Danville, Kentucky

JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Laboratory Technician performs a wide variety of procedures including; collects laboratory specimens by venipuncture and capillary puncture for subsequent testing, collects throat culture and urine speciemnts, EKG and Holter Monitoring and all office responsibilities at the Diagnostic Center. Performs the Registration process which includes: Obtaining, updating and entering correct patient demographic and insurance information into Meditech. DOT & BAT certified and recertification every 5 years (online education). Must exhibit the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
