Position Description
Harvard Divinity School (HDS) invites applications and nominations to fill an open-rank professorship in Religion, Business Ethics, and the Economic Order. This professorship aims to promote the study of the mutual influences of religion, business, and economics, attentive to ways that religion shapes, guides, and challenges practices of production, exchange, and distribution. We welcome applications from scholars who approach these questions historically, sociologically, environmentally, ethically, and/or conceptually, with attention to any of the geographical areas, cultures, and religious traditions of the world.

We also expect willingness to collaborate with colleagues in other Schools at Harvard, particularly Harvard Business School. Familiarity with forms of analysis that address inequality, race, gender, class, and social location is presumed.

HDS is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy and pregnancy-related conditions or any other characteristic protected by law.
