• Ensure drawing accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable drafting standards and configuration management procedures
• Support retrofit and modification programs by preparing drawings used for hardware installation kits and field deployment packages
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to support configuration analysis and troubleshooting
• Coordinate with engineers, configuration managers, logistics staff, and system documentation teams to resolve discrepancies and clarify design intent
• Support audits, safety reviews, and baseline verification activities by providing authoritative drawing and configuration data

• Experience creating, controlling, and revising Bills of Materials (BOMs) in a hardware configuration management environment
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Knowledge of DoD standard drafting procedures and processes is highly desirable
• Experience working in environments with strict configuration control, versioning, and traceability

Ideal Candidate Characteristics
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in documentation driven technical environments
• Able to balance independent drafting tasks with frequent coordination across engineering and program teams
• Interested in long-term system sustainment rather than rapid or disposable design work
• Motivated by supporting mission critical, public safety infrastructure
