Summary: Refrigeration Service Technicians diagnose and repair technical problems with milking refrigeration systems and perform general maintenance and service tasks on customer farms.

Primary Duties/ Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions for refrigeration equipment including milk tanks and associated equipment.
2. Provide service/customer support during field visits or dispatches.
3. Perform necessary general maintenance and service tasks.
4. Collaborate with service/sales colleagues when needed.
5. Tie “workflow” to your daily schedule.
6. Produce timely and detailed service reports.
7. Communicate with Service Manager if/when a follow-up call is required.
8. Engage in continued education when necessary (as requested by your branch manager)
9. Keep accurate records and files.
10. Remain reliable during your “on call” timeframes.
11. Build positive rapport and relationships with our customer base.
12. Observe all bio-secure measures.
13. Keep abreast of the latest methods for producing / selling high quality milk.
14. Follow all company procedures and protocols.
15. Maintain a professional image.
16. Be a positive part of the F&T team.
17. Other duties as assigned.

EPA certified for refrigeration service.

Completed tech school program for refrigeration OR completed over 3 years of previous experience in HVAC industry.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, familiarity with industrial tools.

Driven and passionate about providig quality service.

Ability to meet objectives independently and as part of a team.

Physically able lift/push/pull over 50 pounds.

Must have and maintain valid driver’s license and pass driving record check and drug screen.
