About the Role
The Warranty Claims Advisor is a critical, customer-facing role within the National Accounts team at Road Tested Parts, dedicated to supporting large national warranty companies. This position is responsible for the rapid and accurate intake, management, and resolution of warranty claims while meeting aggressive turnaround time targets.
Serving as the primary point of coordination between the national warranty customer, URG, internal operations, and the end customer, the Warranty Claims Advisor ensures claims are processed with urgency, accuracy, and transparency. This role directly impacts customer satisfaction, contract performance metrics, and the long-term growth of our national warranty partnerships.
Success in this role requires a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and escalate issues to drive timely resolution. The Warranty Claims Advisor plays a vital role in protecting Road Tested Parts’ reputation for responsiveness, reliability, and best-in-class service.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in administrative support, claims processing, or customer service
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with warranty companies, claims administration, or national account customers
- Familiarity with automotive parts, repair workflows, or warranty authorization processes
- Experience working within turnaround time (TAT) or SLA-driven environments
- Proficiency in database management, CRM, or claims tracking systems
- Experience writing service in an automotive setting
- Automotive experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a dedicated claims contact for assigned national warranty company accounts, ensuring prompt and professional communication
- Process warranty claims with urgency by reviewing documentation, validating eligibility, and ensuring compliance with Road Tested Parts and warranty partner requirements
- Actively manage claim lifecycle from submission to resolution, with a focus on meeting or exceeding target turnaround times
- Coordinate closely with URG, internal operations, service partners, and the end customer to resolve issues quickly and accurately
- Monitor open and pending claims daily, proactively following up on missing information, approvals, or escalations
- Clearly communicate claim status, next steps, and resolution outcomes to national customers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of claims activity, customer interactions, and resolutions in the system
- Identify recurring issues, delays, or trends and provide feedback to National Account leadership to improve processes and performance
- Support reporting and performance metrics tied to warranty claim volume, cycle time, and customer satisfaction
